For this project, I created a magazine-style booklet to present an article about the causes of climate change in our environment. The project involved designing three distinct spreads, as well as a cohesive front and back cover, to convey the information in the article. By thoughtfully selecting typefaces, establishing a clear hierarchy, and balancing text with visuals, I aimed to enhance readability while reflecting the urgency of the topic. I also used a scanner to distort type and capture paper textures, creating an interesting look that fits the character of the booklet. The design choices emphasized rapid change and critical statistics, resulting in a visually engaging and informative piece that captures the reader’s attention and encourages deeper reflection.
