For this project, we were assigned to reimagine the vinyl packaging for an artist with a small following, translating their identity and album concept into a complete visual world. The work included front and back cover design, custom record labels, and original typography and imagery, all created in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate.

I chose Venus & the Flytraps, an indie duo whose sound pairs fuzzy guitars and catchy harmonies with a sweet, gritty edge. Their themes of obsession, perception, self-discovery, and female rage guided the design. I set out to capture the band’s spirit and alternative attitude without relying on any of their existing promotional material.
